Despite being a mountainous prefecture (known as “The Roof of Japan”), access to Nagano is remarkably easy, especially due to the shinkansen bullet train built for the 1998 Winter Olympics.
You can reach there in a speedy 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Our nearest bus stop is "Zenkoji-Daimon" (ぜんこうじだいもん｜善光寺大門), about 10 minutes by bus from the #1 bus stop at the Zenkoji-Guchi entrance of Nagano station.
The city bus fare is a flat rate of 190 JPY between Nagano station and the Zenkoji-temple area.

About 30 minutes by car from "Nagano Interchange" of Joshin-Etsu Expressway
